Hot glass bead-making is an extremely absorbing, satisfying craft with huge creative potential and range. Heat, melt, form, shape and decorate glass beads and shapes. Make your own glass beads by melting coloured rods in an open flame. The beads will then be kiln annealed ready for collection within a week. At the start of the session Sally will talk through health and safety and demonstrate lampworking and how to make a glass bead. Under Sally's expert tuition you will then be able to experiment with this exciting method and she will also show you the basics of applying decorations to your beads.
